Cats and Dogs are better than kids because . . .

In many ways, cats and dogs are better than kids because they:

1. Eat less
2. Don't ask for money all the time
3. Are easier to train
4. Normally come when called
5. Never ask to drive the car
6. Don't hang out with drug-using friends
7. Don't smoke or drink
8. Don't have to buy the latest fashions 
9. Don't want to wear your clothes
10. Don't need a "gazillion" dollars for college.

And finally,
11. If they get pregnant, you can sell their children.

To many, they are just animals. To me, my kitty cats are adopted daughters
who are short, hairy, walk on all fours and don't speak clearly! =^..^=

October is ADOPT A SHELTER DOG MONTH!

 Though October is almost over there is still time to visit your local animal shelter and adopt a new best friend. Of course any time of the year is a good time to adopt a pet however, this month many shelters are offering "adoption specials" making it even easier to provide a loving home for a homeless or mistreated puppy or dog.

 You get unconditional love and save an animal from certain demise. It's a selfishly good thing to do!
